Our Story

Caring Solutions is a nonprofit organization rooted in one simple belief: people with disabilities deserve personalized support that honors who they are—not just what services they need.

Mission

Caring Solutions designs and delivers personalized services for people with disabilities and their families, supporting each person’s path to a full and meaningful life.

Vision

We envision a world where people with disabilities are seen, supported, and empowered to achieve their highest potential—on their own terms.

Values

We act with Integrity, honor Commitments, celebrate Achievement, show Respect, and Empower others when we show up for our community.

Our Roots

Since 2001, we’ve provided compassionate, individualized care for people with developmental disabilities across the Greater St. Louis area. Originally launched as Services by Design, Inc., our name may have changed—but our belief that one size does not fit all has remained at the core.

Our Leadership

Guided by a volunteer board and professional advisory council, most of our funding comes from the Missouri Department of Mental Health’s Purchase of Service and Medicaid Waiver contracts. We also rely on generous donors who believe in what’s possible for every person we serve.

How We Work

Our team of dedicated staff and volunteers meets people where they are. Whether someone needs 24/7 care or occasional support, we focus on the full person—their goals, choices, and dignity.

With Trust We Partner in Care.

Caring Solutions works with trusted partners to create safe, respectful, and joyful lives. Together with the Missouri Department of Mental Health, the Developmental Disabilities Resource Board, and Home Sweet Home STL, we connect individuals and families with the support they need. Our Guidestar Gold Transparency seal reflects our accountability, and through the St. Louis Coalition of Service Providers we join others in advocating for stronger disability services across the region.
